Valentine’s Night In Ideas

Valentines night wooden hearts

Often, once people get married, and they are through the honeymoon period, couples tend to crave the romance that existed in their relationship before marriage. It’s not that the romance vanishes all of a sudden, but with a baby and many other responsibilities, it can get quite difficult to spike up that fire! Luckily, Valentine’s Day is the perfect opportunity to make your partner feel special.

With the current pandemic and your baby brawling for your attention, you might think that the perfect date night is impossible, but that’s where you’re wrong! We have made this list of Valentine’s night ideas so that you and your partner can create some more beautiful memories without any worries!

1. Enjoy Breakfast in Bed

There’s nothing better than getting treated like royalty. Why not serve your partner some breakfast in bed? Who said you only get to celebrate Valentine’s after 8 pm? Give your loved one an entire day of showering them with love! Start with breakfast; you can easily sneak in a pancake, some orange juice, or a milkshake if that’s what they prefer.

Don’t worry! You won’t have to go all out just now. Add a little heart with the maple syrup or chocolate sauce, and done! We’re sure your partner is going to wake up with a smile on their face.

2. Collect and Watch Romantic Classic Movies

It’s officially time for ‘Netflix and chill’!

Set up your personal mini-movie theatre at home. Add in some fairy lights and flowers for a romantic touch. Search up the best romantic movies to watch. Pick out the classic romantic movies – they never get old and are always fun to watch with a loved one.

3. Explore Arts & Crafts

Other than getting tons of love, gifts are the next best part about Valentine’s. Even though we might not say it out loud, each one of us is excited at the idea of getting something adorable! But are you on a restricted budget because of the baby? We have got just the solution for it. Get your partner to do art n crafts day with you.

The two of you can fool around and make each other gifts and cards. You can even turn it into a game and challenge each other to see who comes up with a better handmade gift! Perfect for day time fine. Or if you want to make this a bit more intimate, once the kids are in bed, make something together. Picture that famous scene in Ghost 😉

4. Make Cooking Time Fun

So, you’re staying in, but that does mean you can’t enjoy yourself a fancy dinner. Don’t rely on takeaways or Chinese food to get you through the night. The perfect way to show someone how much you love them is by going a little out of the way for them.

Suggest the idea of cooking together! Okay, don’t start sweating just yet. It doesn’t matter if only one of you is good at it. The other can either lovingly spectate, or even better, you can teach each other. It is true when they that the way to a person’s heart is through their stomach! Add some flowers in the mix, and voila!
