Being able to sit is a massive milestone in your baby’s development, and as a baby photographer, next to newborns this is my favourite age to photograph.
These baby photography sessions celebrate that achievement.
They are about capturing that cheeky personality that is starting to show and are a wonderful way to document how your baby has changed since they were first born.

Discover Baby Photography
Usually between 6 – 9 months of age is the best time to capture this milestone. It’s best to book your baby in as soon as they’ve started to sit unaided so that they have a good few weeks to perfect this difficult skill.
We’ll carry out their session when they are sitting comfortably unaided, but before they begin to crawl. If your baby has already begun to crawl already, they will no doubt keep us on our toes and we can expect a fast paced session, but it doesn’t mean you’ve missed the opportunity. That’s another milestone we can capture.
A selection of gorgeous outfits and props are provided for you to choose from.
I am an experienced baby photographer with an apt for working with babies and I work hard to gain their trust so that they get the most out of the session.
HOW IT WORKS
This baby photography session is a relaxed portrait session carried out at my gorgeous studio in Forest Row, East Sussex, located within easy access to most of Sussex, Surrey and Kent.

Book & Prepare
Once you get in touch, we’ll secure your session and guide you through everything you need to know. From timing and outfits to what to bring, we make sure you feel prepared, confident, and excited for your baby’s special photoshoot.
When you are ready to book we can secure your appointment with a non-refundable session fee.

Your Session Day
On the day, everything is calm, safe, and baby-led. We allow plenty of time for feeding, cuddles, and soothing, capturing natural moments and gently posed portraits. Your comfort and your baby’s wellbeing always come first, ensuring a relaxed and memorable experience.

Viewing & Ordering
Two weeks later, you’ll enjoy a private viewing where your images are presented beautifully in a slideshow.
From there, you’ll choose your favourites and decide how best to display them: all-inclusive collections, luxury albums, bespoke wall art, or digital collections that keep your memories alive for generations.
