Your Personal Data:
What we need
Cosy Toes Photography will be the “controller” of the personal data that you provide to us. We collect only basic personal data about you including your name, the names of those who will participate in your photography session and their ages, your due date (if pregnant), your address, email, and your telephone number.
Why we collect your data
We need your basic personal data in order to provide you with information about photography services in accordance with our contract, and to supply the photography services to you. We will not collect any personal data from you that we do not need in order to provide and oversea this service to you.
What we do with your data
All the personal data we hold is processed by our staff in the UK and France, however, for the purposes of IT hosting and maintenance, this information is located on servers within the European Union.
No 3rd parties have access to your personal data unless the law or our contract with you, allows them to do so.
How long we keep your data
Your data is often kept indefinitely to allow us to provide you with a better service, or until the time that you ask us to delete it. We keep your images for a minimum of one year, however images are often kept indefinitely to allow for replacements of your order should they become lost or damaged, or should you wish to purchase more images at a later date. Images used in my portfolio and marketing (with your prior consent) may also be kept indefinitely unless you request them to be deleted. Your information we use for marketing purposes will be kept with us until you notify us that you no longer wish to receive this information. We are required by law to store data regarding sales orders for a minimum of 6 years for tax purposes. All information is kept securely on password protected/encripted hard drives.
What we would also like to do with your data
We would like to use your name and email address to inform you of our future offers and similar products. This information is not shared with 3rd parties and you can unsubscribe at any time via phone or email. You will not receive more than five marketing emails from us over a period of one year.
What are your rights?
If at any point you believe that the information we process on you is incorrect, you can request to see this information and have it corrected or deleted. If you wish to raise a complaint on how we have handled your personal data, you can contact Lisa Louis at firstname.lastname@example.org who will investigate the matter.
If you are not satisfied with our response or you believe we are not processing your personal data in accordance with the law, you can contact the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
If you leave a comment on our site you may opt in to saving your name, e-mail address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
If you have an account and you log in to this site, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.
If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after 1 day.
