Your baby’s birthday is fast approaching. Where has that year gone hey? Their first birthday is something you’ll always want to remember and a cake smash photography session is the perfect way to record this extra special milestone.
Your Cake Smash photoshoot is fully tailored and split into three sections, to give you a wonderful variety of photos to treasure. Starting with some classic portraits I capture some beautiful timeless memories of your one year old.
Then the moment everyone is waiting for; the cake smash. Will your little one smash it to pieces or devour it?? I’m always excited to see their reaction.
Finally we clean up those sticky fingers with a bubbly splash session – often the part they love the best.

Cake Smash Photography sessions are carried out at my beautiful studio in Forest Row, East Sussex, near to East Grinstead, Crawley, Horley, Haywards Heath, Reigate & Tunbridge Wells.
Or, if you prefer your cake smash photoshoot at your home, these are available throughout most of East Sussex, West Sussex, Surrey or Kent (supplement applies). If you opt for a premium in home session, I bring the studio to the comfort of your own home so all you need to is relax and enjoy watching your little model have a blast.
The cake smash photography session is tailored with your choice of backdrops, accessories and outfits to suite your style so that your images will look amazing. Cake Smash images are a fantastic piece to display on your kitchen wall!
HOW IT WORKS
The standard cake smash includes a set up of your choice. Sets can either be tailor made with plain backdrops and, as little, or as many decorations as you’d like.Or, you can choose from one of my pre-designed themed sets (see gallery below).
Your cake smash photoshoot is covered by our satisfaction guarantee, so you only pay for images you LOVE and your investment in these precious memories is entirely risk free. If you decide you do not love your images enough to wish to purchase any, then your session fee will simply be returned to you.

Book & Plan
We’ll chat about themes, colours, and cake ideas to create a setup that reflects your baby’s personality.
When you are ready to book we can secure your appointment with a non-refundable session fee.

Smash & Play
The fun begins with portraits before the cake, followed by your baby’s cake smash adventure. Whether poking, tasting, or smashing, every giggle, crumb, and sticky smile is captured in a relaxed, baby-led session.
During your cake smash photoshoot we’ll also capture some classic portraits and some fun shots in our miniature bath tub!

View & Treasure
Around two weeks later, you’ll see your gallery in a private viewing. From there, you’ll choose your favourites and decide how best to display them: all-inclusive collections, luxury albums, bespoke wall art, or digital collections that keep your memories alive for generations.
