Jude and George’s Newborn Twins Photo Session

 

A few weeks ago I met Jude and George for their newborn twins photo session.  They were 6 weeks old already but still not quite at their due date having been born 7 weeks early. Still sleepy and curled up – just perfect for newborn photography.

 

George had been suffering with colic and when I arrived his mum warned me that he may not settle as easily as Jude. But these little ones are set to surprise us as ever. George slept like a dream. Perfecting every pose that I put him in. Jude wanted a few more cuddles – of course I was happy to oblige.

 

The above image is one of my all time favourites for twins – one telling the other a secret – something I’m sure they will continue to do for many years to come…..”don’t tell mum but….” lol.

 

I like to get a mixture of images when I do twin sessions. Of course there is always lots of both babies together, but I think it’s important to have some of each baby on their own too.

 

 

 

But of course you have to capture that bond between them too – even if there were a few kicks from each of them to the other – again, I expect this will continue as they grow.

 

 

 

Black and white images are  one of my favourites. They are raw and bring so much emotion with them.
