Newborns All Wrapped Up – a mini photo session.

 

I met Elise for her mini newborn “All Wrapped Up” Session just after Christmas. You  may be forgiven for wondering how a 1-2 hour session can be called a mini session, but when it comes to newborns, who can require lots of TLC, settling and feeding, a standard session can last up to 4 hours!

In this mini version of the portrait session, the baby stays wrapped throughout the whole session, in a variety of different ways and using different props. I’m sure you will agree that Elise looks so pretty above amongst all the flowers.

 

although this session aimed at parents who would like just a handful of images as a keepsake of their little one to remember these newborn days by, you needn’t worry about a lack  of variety. Even keeping the baby wrapped, there is still a lot of variety that you can have. Shown here is an example of different wraps, headbands and hats. Many props and angles provide parents with a range of stunning images of their little one.

 

 

 

 

Elise was a little angel and loved being snuggly wrapped up – I’ve yet to find a baby who doesn’t. Already booked in for her next Cosy Toes session, I am really looking forward to meeting Elise again when I return once she is able to sit unaided. I really do love watching my little clients grow and change. It’s such an honour being part of their precious first year.
