Kit’s Newborn Photography Session; a Christmas Newborn

 

Is your baby a Christmas Newborn? When your baby is born in November or December no doubt you’re going to already be thinking forward to that very special first Christmas with your precious new baby. You probably going to mark this time with some special gifts and keepsakes – Baby’s first Christmas baubles etc. And when you’ve booked a newborn photography session, what better way to remember it that including some special Christmas themes images?

 

 

 

 

Kit was booked in for an ‘All Wrapped Up” newborn mini session. This is a shorter version of the Standard Portrait session, up to 2 hours, for those parents who would like just a  handful of images. Or, for those who don’t want any naked images of their baby, as, as the name suggests, the baby is kept wrapped up throughout the session, in a variety of different ways.

 

 

The session didn’t only focus on Christmas. I also took some timeless images, working with mum and dad’s requests. Kit’s nickname is Fox, so of course my fox hat HAD to be included. He looks so precious here with his hand on his face.

 

 

 

 

During these session, I use 3 different props and wrap the baby in different ways for variety. I can also expose those perfect details like the hands and the feet to capture these while they are so tiny.

 

 

I

n Kit’s newborn photo session I finished up with exposing his shoulders just enough so he could rest gently and comfortably on the edge of the bucket.
