First Birthday Cake Smash

Ellie’s First birthday Cake Smash was at her home in Horley a few weeks before her first birthday. Mum wanted to use her photos for her birthday invitations. A fabulous idea and what’s  great about the digital images that Cosy Toes Offers, they allow you to print or create cards, invitations, thank you cards as well as produce beautiful wall products for yourself.

I started Ellie’s photo session with a few portrait images. Whilst the Cake Smash provides a lot of fun and great memories, the portrait section of the photo session allows you to get some timeless images of your baby at their first birthday milestone. Something stunning and timeless for you to hang on your wall. Some wonderful expressions captured here. Seriousness, attitude and cuteness!

I love creating these “One” plaques. They are so much fun to do and look amazing when put together like this.

Every baby has a little soft spot – something to get those cheeky smiles out of them. Ellie’s was Peppa Pig. A quick play of the theme tune and she flashed a smile every time!

Ellie loved her cake. I think she preferred eating it more than smashing it up (who can blame her?!) but she still did a great job and had a lot of fun tucking into it.
