I have recently joined BANPAS. What’s that I hear you say? BANPAS is an independent photography association dedicated to the newborn and baby genres of photography. It stands for Baby And Newborn Photography Association and it’s members are some of the highest regarded in the industry.
It’s a great site that I would highly recommend visiting if you are considering hiring someone to photograph your little one. It covers many things from why you should use a professional newborn photographer and when to book, to what you can expect of a newborn shoot. You can also search for photographers in your local area.
One of their main focuses is to promote safety awareness in newborn photography and it’s the main reason I became a member. You can find my membership listing here.
