I fell in love with newborn photography after having my own son photographed in this style. I literally can’t get enough of those tiny details that only a newborn has. The pouty lips, the squishy cheeks, even the little flaky bits on the hand and feet. Every inch of that baby is simply perfect and I adore capturing and preserving those details and moments that are only there for such a short amount of time.

As I watched my babies grow I came to realise how important it was to have those memories of them recorded in photographs. Even with my youngest son, already I find I can no longer remember how small he once, how he sucked his little lip into his tiny toothless mouth – not until I look back through his newborn images that were captured so perfectly by the photographer. But I don’t have the luxury of remembering those details with my eldest. I can not tell you how much I regret not having those same beautiful images of him – for he was born before newborn photography was really a thing, sadly I had not known about this style of photography at the time.

And so I decided that I would make sure that other mums never forget those precious details. To make it my mission to document these moments for my clients. And so I founded Cosy Toes Photography (my 3rd baby), and I now dedicate myself to preserving their moments with stunning images that they can hang on their wall for a lifetime. 

I can honestly say that I get as much joy out of the images I take as the parents do, and it’s such an honour for me to be able to capture these precious moments for my clients and I know from first hand experience how much they will be cherished forever.
